Mark Meuser here. It’s been a while since I last emailed you, but I want you to know I haven’t stopped fighting to defend our freedoms.
As you may know, California has scheduled a special election for November 4, 2025. Gavin Newsom is ramming through Proposition 50 — his blatant attempt to “Gavin-mander” California. The voters have already decided twice that they do not want partisan politicians drawing the lines. That’s why we put into our Constitution the independent redistricting commission — so the people choose their politicians, not corrupt politicians choosing their voters.
As a result of Gavin’s unconstitutional actions, I filed two lawsuits directly with the California Supreme Court to stop this election. But the California Supreme Court turned a blind eye. Now it’s up to us — the voters — to slam the door on Gavin’s power grab.

Right now, I am preparing the next lawsuit in Federal Court. Federal courts are not allowed to intervene and stop elections, so we must wait and see what voters decide on November 4. If the voters approve Gavin’s unconstitutional power grab, I will be prepared to immediately file a lawsuit in Federal Court to block these unconstitutional “Gavin-mander” seats from ever taking effect.
While I am fighting Gavin Newsom in the courthouse, I am also working to defeat this proposition at the ballot box. I have formed a ballot committee focused on turning out Republican voters in Orange County. This election will be decided by turnout, and we cannot afford to sit on the sidelines. Every Republican vote is needed to defeat Proposition 50.
