Mark Meuser here, and I have some bad news.
I’ve been tracking early ballot returns and comparing them to past elections. The data is alarming. Democrats are returning their mail-in ballots at record pace, while too many Republicans are still sitting on theirs.
If we don’t turn this around immediately, Gavin Newsom will score a major victory, and that win will catapult him to the top of the Democrat ticket for President in 2028.
As an attorney, I am preparing the lawsuit to take to the Supreme Court to stop Prop 50 from going into effect because of the many constitutional violations committed by Gavin Newsom and the Democratic Party in putting it on the ballot.
But I would rather win this fight now at the ballot box than spend months fighting it in court.
That’s why last week, my committee made more than 100,000 voter contacts in Orange County. It’s a strong start, but we need to do much more.
